  • Cracked and broken pavement outside the Cue and Dart World shop, 28th April
I would like to report a dangerous cracked and broken pavement outside the Cue and Dart World shop at 116 Frankwell Road, Shrewsbury. Not sure how long it has been like this. My husband was going to the dart shop and rolled his ankle on the cracked and dangerous pavement and fell outside the shop on Good Friday. The shop assistants and general public came to his rescue and helped him from falling into the road. My son called me in a panic to say that his dad had fallen over. Luckily he did not bang his head. I picked them both up and I took my husband to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital A&E department for an X-ray as he could not walk on his ankle. The X-ray confirmed no break, but he has ligament damage which will take weeks to recover. Photos attached of the damage done to my husband’s ankle. I expect a reply as to when this pavement will be fixed so that no one else damages themselves on this area of pavement. I also expect a reply as to how the Council will deal with this complaint/report.

  • 2 bags of rubbish left beside river on the Shrewsbury School bank. Visible from Porthill Bridge, 19th April
Two black bin bags. One already in the water. I believe this riverside bank is owned by the council (?) One bag may only accessible via boat
